Tim Howell, E-RYT 500, Registered Yoga Teacher, is an experienced Tucson yoga instructor and the proprietor of Divine Joy Yoga. He began his yoga journey around 2001. He received his 200 Hour and 500 Hour Advanced Hatha Yoga Certifications. His practice has been influenced by Bender, Baptise, Iyengar, Maehle, Yogananda, Desikachar, Kriyananda, Farhi, and Dworkis. Tim has taught over 4000 classes.

Tim offers classes that facilitate a smile in a safe environment for students at all fitness levels. His focus is designed to help you develop self-awareness and mindfulness, and to discover your playful nature and infinite possibilities.

Stefanie Keefe RYT 200, LMSW

Stefanie discovered yoga in college and has practiced yoga ever since finding that it provides significant balance and calm to her life. Stefanie hopes to, not only continue to integrate the values of yoga into her own life but, to also pass on the wisdom to others.

Stefanie completed her 200 hour Hatha Teacher Training program at the Yoga Connection Teacher Training School. Stefanie is currently a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with the Yoga Alliance. She teaches chair, gentle, yin, restorative, beginning and continuing Hatha Yoga.

Stefanie Keefe has always been interested in helping others. Her academic and work backgrounds are in psychology and social work. Stefanie is currently a licensed social worker as well as a yoga teacher.

Stefanie will guide you through a holistic yogic journey by offering a slower paced asana practice that incorporates pranayama techniques (breathing) and meditation. She encourages honoring your body, being fully present in the moment, and going at your pace.

Pamela Adler E-RYT-200, RYT-500; Yoga Therapist

Pamela is a certified schoolteacher of 20 years serving a wonderful population of students in Tucson who are deaf/hearing impaired, on the Autism Spectrum, as well as students with physical and cognitive impairments. It was through the transformative power of mantra, meditation, mudra, and asana that Pamela realized she could reach her students in a different way. Meditation and mudra eased anxiety in her students with ADHD, regular asana and mantra practice soothed social angst in her students with Asperger’s Syndrome.

Pamela received her 200-hr Hatha training in Tucson at the Yoga Connection in June of 2013 and completed her 300 hour Yoga Therapy; Healing Emphasis Yoga Teacher Training Program at Inner Vision Yoga (Phoenix, AZ) in December of 2015.

Pamela’s many trainings have qualified her to offer and is currently teaching, Hatha Yoga classes to: adults, children, special needs populations, Chair Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga/Resorative Yoga, TRE/CSR™, Reiki I, and private/small group-healing emphasis yoga classes. Pamela often uses conscious sound and vibration in the forms of toning and crystal bowls to deepen the already transformative, healing power of Yoga.

Pamela offers private sessions as well and will create a personalized, therapeutic, healing and or traditional Hatha Yoga session based on your specific wellness goals. Pamela specializes in a healing emphasis based program using guided meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques), and restorative yoga therapeutics for any healing project ranging from anxiety to Osteoporosis.

Miranda Stanton

Stepping off the carousel of New York show biz and into a world of Mindfulness has been a long trek with many miles ahead. During her years of teaching, she continues to find inspiration in the “simplicity of being” to which she has her students to thank.

Miranda received her 200hr certification in May 2009 and 300hr in May of 2015.

Trish Harris E-RYT-200

Trish Harris is a yoga teacher who is passionate about sharing the transformational practices of yoga in a way that is empowering, accessible, and while keeping in mind safety and honoring each individual. She first tried yoga in 2012, in the midst of crisis. Over time, yoga helped her reconnect with her physical, emotional and spiritual self in a way that changed her life forever. She completed her 200 hour teacher training in December of 2015. Trish loves teaching yoga and feels it is such a privilege to connect with the people who come to Divine Joy Yoga.
