Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a
specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. Geocaching is an increasingly popular, inclusive, fun and healthy pastime for individuals of all ages. It is also great for groups like families, friends, classes and youth groups working as teams. The sport combines technology with adventure, a
combination that some people didn’t think was possible. The sport consists of using a hand held GPS receiver unit to guide you to a destination, where a hidden container (or “cache”) is stored. There are 2,268,645 active geocaches in 224 countries and over 6 million geocachers world wide. Come learn about this fascinating past time!

U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management.
Join Laura on a leisurely hike behind the Ranch property. Laura will discuss Rancho Robles history, wildlife, botany and ecology of the area and nearby mountain basin and range topography. A beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding areas can be seen during the hike. Wear sturdy hiking boots or shoes that may get muddy. Long sleeves and long pants would be preferable. Bring binoculars if you have them.

Bioliotherapy incorporates the concept of cognitive therapy, self-assessment, the benefits and burdens of self-induced therapy/self coaching, and most of the time is spent covering the best “tools” available today, including books, authors, programs, and mulit-media alternatives. Beau brings a tool chest filled with these resources. Demonstrations of examples of using bibliotherapy for a specific quest. Attendees will work on developing their own personal plan. This workshop is interactive.

Sitting meditation, called zazen, is the first practice of stilling the mind that a student of Zen is introduced to in a
formal temple practice. Many yoga practitioners have learned forms of sitting meditations. Walking meditation is taught as a complementary practice. Stillness in action, or taking the meditation into the world.. Anita will teach the practice of kinhin, we practice it as a group, and take questions about the practice at the close of the session.

delicate desert environment. Anita Govert, Associate Broker, Tierra Antigua Realty.
Anita has actively presented public education forums throughout AZ to enliven the discussion as to what is at our
disposal to reduce our wear and tear on the desert. She currently serves the SW Climate Science Center, www.swcsc.gov as U of A’s Grants Manager while concurrently helping Tucson residents make conscious real estate purchasing choices. She is a certified National Home Builders Association Green Professional and an EcoBroker.

After a catastrophic car accident in 1991, Joe Pinella was diagnosed quadriplegic and told by his doctors that he would never walk again. Against all odds, he used the ancient Chinese healing techniques of Qigong and Tai Chi Kung to
relieve his pain, regain his strength and train his body to move again. Using these arts, mentally at first, he overcame severe disability and regained the use of his body, with no pain and no limitations. Desire… Determination… and
Dedication… coupled with these arts gave him back his life. The practice, which Joe calls his Healing Movements

The term Ayurveda is taken from the Sanskrit words ayus, meaning life and, veda, meaning knowledge. It has been practiced in india for at least 5000 years. The basic principle of Ayurveda is to prevent and treat illness by maintaining balance in the body, mind, and consciousness through proper diet and lifestyle. Just as everyone has a unique fingerprint, according to Ayurvedic beliefs, each person has a distinct pattern of energy—a specific combination of physical, mental and emotional characteristics. It is also believed that there are three basic energy types called doshas, present in every person. In this workshop you will take a quiz to find out what your dosha is and learn valuable tips to increase your health, vitality and well-being.

Many believe that there is basically only one way to meditate, when in fact there are many and life itself can be a meditation. In this workshop we will learn some of the types of meditation and then experience a guided meditation into the quantum field of infinite possibilities. We explore how to examine your work and living spaces either as undermining your goals or accelerating achievement of your goals. We will explore the top seven most effective ways to change your place in order to generate easier and more positive life momentum for you and your family. Transform your home into the wish fulfilling gem it is supposed to be.

2:30-3:15 P.M.       In the Barn       Walking Meditation – Kinhin (Japanese), with Anita JT Govert.
Sitting meditation, called zazen, is the first practice of stilling the mind that a student of Zen is introduced to in a
formal temple practice. Many yoga practitioners have learned forms of sitting meditations. Walking meditation is taught as a complementary practice. Stillness in action, or taking the meditation into the world.. Anita will teach the practice of kinhin, we practice it as a group, and take questions about the practice at the close of the session.

delicate desert environment. Anita Govert, Associate Broker, Tierra Antigua Realty.
Anita has actively presented public education forums throughout AZ to enliven the discussion as to what is at our
disposal to reduce our wear and tear on the desert. She currently serves the SW Climate Science Center, www.swcsc.gov as U of A’s Grants Manager while concurrently helping Tucson residents make conscious real estate purchasing choices. She is a certified National Home Builders Association Green Professional and an EcoBroker.
